      <image:title>About Me - ABOUT ME:</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a licensed MFT in New Mexico and in California. I completed my Masters in Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2007 and worked in various community mental health programs for seven years throughout San Francisco before starting my private practice in 2013. Throughout my career I’ve had the great privilege of working with a very diverse clientele. I welcome people from all walks of life and all identifications. I truly love my work and am honored to have worked with the many people who have found their way into my practice throughout the years. Prior to discovering my vocation as a therapist, I studied literature and music, both of which continue to inform my work. A deeply curious person, I strive to never stop learning. I continue to deepen and hone my skills with ongoing learning, personal growth, professional education and regular consultation.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About Therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>ABOUT MY PRACTICE: I offer individual therapy for adults. My practice is general and I enjoy working with a wide range of issues and people. However, I have particular experience working with: Working through relational and developmental trauma Managing life transitions and identity shifts Healing from the aftermath of growing up in a challenging family system Creating a stronger sense of self and a deeper engagement in your own life Issues around gender, sexuality and identity Exploring and addressing the impact of intersecting cultures and the outer world (including aspects of society and sometimes unjust systems of power) on self, development and experience of inner and outer life Letting go of stale patterns in favor of beginning to live more creatively and authentically</image:caption>

<image:title>About Therapy - MY APPROACH: I have been described as warm, interactive and down-to-earth in my therapeutic style. While I am eclectic in day to day practice, I am grounded in relational psychodynamic theory, meaning in part that I pay attention to the healing power of the therapeutic relationship itself. It also means I pay close attention to your thoughts, feelings and processes to possibly read 'between the lines' and discover along with you possible unconscious patterns which may be impacting your life more than you realize. I don't believe in 'one size fits all' and tailor my approach to each individual. As a result, therapy can be a bit different with each person I work with. I see therapy in many ways as a creative, collaborative process. I love my work and hold the deepest respect for the people who work with me as well as for the process itself.</image:title>
